Compared with our entry-level Mockmill 100 & 200 grain mills, and the Mockmill Lino 100 & 200 grain mills, the motor in the Professional 200 mill is built with heavier duty components and has an innovative cooling system which allows for non-stop milling and extended motor life.
All dry grains can be ground with the Mockmill Professional 200 grain mill, including soft or hard wheat, oat groats (dehulled oats), rice, triticale, kamut, spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum, soybeans and dent (field) corn. It will also grind lentils, dry beans (pinto, red, garbanzo, kidney & more), and dried, non-oily spices. It isn't suitable for herbs, oilseeds like flax or sesame, popcorn, or fibrous materials.
Dent (field) corn and soybeans can be ground to any texture from cracked to meal to very fine flour. For these very large-kerneled grains, grind first with the stones opened widely to produce cracked grain, then a second time if you want flour. If you want to grind oat groats open the stones further, otherwise the soft oat flour will fill the stones' furrows and in-feeding will stop. Opening the stones further will give you a cereal grind for porridge, or coarser yet for cracked oats, similar to steel-cut.

I absolutely love this grain mill! Its extremely fast, mills perfect fine flour, isn't too loud and creates basically no mess! Bonus points for looking so pretty too. Everything I have made so far has turned out great and tasted amazing, I have no doubts this will last me and my family a long time. Andreas and Barbara provided excellent customer service and were able to get me my mill very quickly which I am so grateful for.. all the best!

I bought this one many months back from this site. I have to say I am very happy with this mill. It looks great to start. Really is a much better thing to have on the counter than say a Wondemill, which I found to be very clunky and the white plastic was just not appealing to me. I have a slight preference for the stone mills vs the metal ones, but that may be minor. Performance wise, it is great, no complaints. It can be loud so I would suggest putting on the lid while grinding, but this is not a minus. All mills are going to be loud. I grind my Kamut flour on the number 1 grind setting. This produces a great flour for our sour dough breads. I also wanted a machine that had the best and most durable motor, and this professional 200 series seems to be the best one for my family and I.I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a flour mill.
