With the hardened steel conical grinder, the Messerschmidt hand mill grinds all types of grain (except corn), as well as oil seeds (flax seed, sesame seeds, poppy seeds...), dry herbs and spices. The hand mill grinds from fine flour to coarse meal - the grains are transported into the steel cone grinder with a strong screw conveyor

The steel conical grinder can be taken-apart in a few simple steps without any tools and the individual parts can then be rinsed. This is necessary after grinding of oil seeds because the fat which escapes during milling would get rancid in the mill.
